Help Others Who Are Struggling

To our friends, family, and the Community of Vero Beach --

John, Pierce, Finn, my Mom and Dad, The Stawara family and I cannot express enough the heartfelt gratitude each of us have for the overwhelming outpouring of love and acts of kindness towards our family in the wake of Tyler's death. We will forever be appreciative of the support that has been shown to us during this most difficult time. As most of you know, we lost Tyler the night of Thursday, September 17th. What most of you may not know is that Tyler took his own life via firearm. We feel it's important to take this opportunity to bring awareness to the severity of mental health issues in our community and hope to help others experiencing similar struggles as Tyler faced. There is always someone willing to listen and ready to help. A local nonprofit, Mental Health Association in Indian River County, operates a Walk-In & Counseling Center where children and adults in crisis can walk-in, without an appointment for immediate mental health screenings and intervention free of charge.

It's okay to reach out. It's OKAY to Get Help!
